Research shows that patients show reduction in the frequency and severity of their headaches while under regular chiropractic care. And, that the benefits of care are sustained even beyond treatment duration.  Dr. Butler has helped his patients with chiropractic adjustments to help relieve the constant headaches they had been experiencing.

A study at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, collected information from more than 2,700 sources and compared how patients with different types of headaches responded to different approaches such as chiropractic care, drug therapy, exercise, and relaxation techniques.

Results showed that chiropractic adjustments “resulted in immediate reduction/improvement in headache severity” for patients with cervicogenic headaches (most common type) Chiropractic care provided, “sustained improvement in headache frequency and severity.”

When chiropractic was compared with drug treatment, results showed that both groups experienced approximately the same immediate effect. However, patients who had drug treatments experienced some type of adverse effect eighty-two percent of the time.

True healing takes place when the body is functioning better. Chiropractors have been educating their patients on for over 115 years. Chiropractors provide a natural, non-drug, and non-surgical and very effective approach to reducing headache and migraine pain. Chiropractors rely on the body’s inbuilt recuperative abilities. They also recommend lifestyle changes – better nutrition/eating habits, regular exercise, and more to their patients.

Chiropractic has long been successful helping individuals with headaches to relieve their suffering once and for all. Wouldn’t it make more sense to find a solution that actually corrects the neurological cause of the headaches rather than to continue to cover up the symptoms with drugs that may, in fact, cause more damage?
